I bet 90% of landscapers and other home improvement contractors never send a thank you card within 6 months of doing business let alone make it an annual practice. I recently read Joe Girard’s book How to Sell Anything to Anybody and he stresses the importance of sending out cards non-stop. There are plenty of events and reasons to write a note to you customer. Some people you would send a card to and others prefer email. Either way, taking that extra minute will make a huge difference especially for those who are building up a business with the intention of selling it.
